Located in the tourist center of Brotas, in the State of São Paulo, Parque dos Saltos is cut by the Jacaré-Pepira river, forming a competitive water circuit with its many waterfalls. The place hosts several events related to the practice of adventure sports, such as canoeing championships.

For those who prefer activities through trails, there are some close to the two banks of the river. The area has historical and environmental importance and is one of the main postcards of Brotas, expressive destination of ecotourism and adventure tourism in the State.

In Parque dos Saltos, a bridge crosses the dam and offers a beautiful view of the woods around. There still remains an old engine room, revealing an old hydroelectric power plant that operated on the local.

Key information and tips

At Christmas, the park receives Christmas decorations and is even more beautiful.

Wear sneakers, use sunscreen and repellent. Hydrate yourself constantly.

Do not go canoeing without proper safety equipment.
