The Oscar Niemeyer Museum in Curitiba, is a site dedicated to visual arts exhibition, architecture, town planning and design. With more than 17.000 meters square of exhibition área, the Museum was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, a worldwide known modernist architecture. He has designed many buildings in Brasília – the capital of Brasil.

Inaugurated in 2002, the site mix straight with curved lines, concrete with green areas, neutral with collour. Its colection is displayed in 12 exhibition halls and the Museum has approximately 4,000 pieces, for instance Tarsila do Amaral, Di Cavalcanti, Tomie Ohtake, Andy Warhol, Cândido Portinari, Francisco Brennand, Caribé, Theodoro De Bona, Oscar Niemeyer among other artists works.

With the goal to provide a great visual art experience to the visitor, the Museum has a multidisciplinar team. Called Educational Action, it is a department responsible for providing courses and workshops open to the public.

The ground floor hosts most of the exhibitions and can be accessed by ramp or elevator, facilitating the transit of people with disabilities
