Located at 15 km from the downtown Brotas, in the State of São Paulo, the spring called Areia que Canta does not have this unusual name for nothing. The water comes in the midst of a sand made of fine grains of quartz that produce strident sounds when rubbed, similar to a cuíca (instrument used in Brazilian music, especially in samba schools).
The spring form little pools that provide the feeling of a real natural hydromassage for those seeking relaxation in its warm waters. The floating in the place is incredible. You can also visit the rapids of the Tamanduá river, with flagstone where the river runs.
Areia que Canta is inside a farm and the ride up there leads you through trails in the woods, next to orchards and in direct contact with nature. When returning from the walk, you can still choose between a delicious and typical countryside breakfast or a meal with a country taste.
You can only visit the spring with local guides.
